How to obtain a Library Card

Library District
The library district includes all townships: Richview, Ashley, Radom, and Dubois.

Library Cards

  • Eligibility: All residents and/or property owners in the library district are eligible for free library cards. Two (2) forms of ID with your name and current address are required to verify residency. Examples include a driver’s license, voter registration card, property tax bill, or mail postmarked within the last 30 days.
  • Out-of-District Residents: People who live outside the library district may purchase a family card for an annual fee of $40.
  • Children: Children aged 7 or older may receive a Juvenile card with parent/guardian approval. This card is valid for use in the Children’s Department.
  • Teens: Individuals 16 years or older with a valid driver’s license may apply for a library card without a parent/guardian.

Additional Information:

  • Cards will not be issued within 20 minutes of closing.
  • Cards must be renewed every two years.

There is no charge to replace lost cards.
